New Years Comes in with a Billion People... Just joking, however several
million were in and around my immediate vicinity. In Tokyo, there was
an event throughout the Holiday season. It seems that Tokyo needed another
festival so they hired an Italian artist to design a lights display. They
call it Tokyo Millenario.
(visit their website to learn more. The annual illumination show by Italian artist Valerio Festi lights up the streets of Marunouchi. Coinciding with the 400th anniversary of Edo, the light works incorporate traditional Japanese designs of Edo Kiriko. |
