From Roppongi Hills the new shopping and entertainment district, you can see the blue lights that decorate all around the building. This photo you can see Tokyo Tower off in the distance.

As you can see, this small, not to be congested road, is quite congested. But still an awesome site.
Using "Dark Setting" on my camera you can get a different feel. This city is amazing in winter.
New Years Comes in with a Billion People... Just joking, however several million were in and around my immediate vicinity. In Tokyo, there was an event throughout the Holiday season. It seems that Tokyo needed another festival so they hired an Italian artist to design a lights display. They call it Tokyo Millenario. (visit their website to learn more.

The annual illumination show by Italian artist Valerio Festi lights up the streets of Marunouchi. Coinciding with the 400th anniversary of Edo, the light works incorporate traditional Japanese designs of Edo Kiriko.

With a small bang, it is lit! Happy 2004!
