4 months all in 1 post ;>

Yes I know, it's been 4 months since I have posted a blog. I can't say that I don't have anytime, but I have just been a bit lazy, especially when it comes to the Internet and my homepage.

So let's see.... Where should I start.

The new year started out great. Went home for 2 weeks and I really enjoyed the time back in the US. I still can't believe that customs actually asked me... "What is the purpose of your visit." I get questions on why I am returning home?... I responded with a polite "I'm visiting family." Like it is any of their business. I will update my website: http://brown.najapan.com/ soon so you can see the photos of the trip there.

Came back and spent a wonderful New Years in the country. I went to Guma, a prefecture about 3 hours away from Tokyo, and spent 3 days traveling around the area. It was nice to se snow. I must say, just a few hours away from Tokyo they do get a lot of snow. I think it is about the same Colorado gets in the winter.
Didn't do any skiing, but I really wanted too. Maybe next year.

For the rest of January and pretty much until March I just worked. I worked onsite at Seta International until March 18th but that place just got on my nerves way too much. I was working 6 days a week and with Oyamadai Junior High School, I found it just too much.

Mid March was really fun. I slept about 3 days straight. I think the stress of leaving and work, with my company, was just too much. I needed the rest. After I spent most of the time around Tokyo having lunch and diner with friends. Driving around. And just exploring some of the finer parts of Tokyo. It reminded me why I enjoy Japan so much.

April brings new opportunities and new challenges. I will keep updating here as well as my website.

Sorry for the long delay.

I can't believe

I can't believe it has been 10 days since I posted a blog. Too long. Well what has happened here. Tokyo got hit by a Typhoon... which was uneventful. Just heavy rain. I didn't even think the wind was anything special. Nothing, I repeat nothing, fell off my balcony. Not one tree was down in the area. Not one branch. Nothing. Friends were stuck all over Tokyo because the trains stopped... which again was uneventful. All the stores closed, and well, not much to do here when nothing is open. (Forgot to mention, the heavy rain lasted 30 mins. Then the clouds cleared by 9pm and it was a perfect evening, except... all the stores were closed and nothing was on TV.

This week has flown by. Monday was a National holiday and Wednesday and Thursday I am off in the morning. Still go into the office in the afternoon.

We are almost to the project... Almost I say because we have been almost for 4 months now.

I think I am going to buy a new cell phone. Mine is almost 18 months old and well, everyday use, has put a toll on it. No antenna, low battery life, and well, about full of numbers. Now's I need to do is find something I like and something I can transfer data too.

Last weekend I didn't go to Kakegawa, because of the typhoon. The event was cancelled. I just stayed home.

Other than that, everything is good. I started the "supplement diet" that you sent me way back, again. I think the combination of both the gym and the supplements will really help me loose the gut. I am setting Christmas as my goal to loose 1/2 my gut. And by Spring the rest. I can do it. Just need a bit more time.

I am still planning on Christmas. I am searching prices now. I hope to have something purchased by early November. I might even put a hold on a few dates this weekend.

Enough for now... more later.

Goes by so fast

I can't believe it is Sunday already, actually Sunday night. This week flew by. The new website in English is up, what do you think? www.najapan.com We signed a small deal this week and my engineer has fire under him. I think he will sell a few more systems over the next few weeks. He wants to get an office, and expand... I say, hey, get the work and we can ;>

This week I have been lax on the gym. I will get back into the swing of it this week. Everyday! Monday to Friday. I feel really good when I finish us. I have taken 3 days off this week, and well the energy level is really down.

Next weekend is the Kakegawa festival. I am going. I will upload some photos when I get back.

Rain here all day.... so, tired of typing. Nothing new going on.

Busy

The last few weeks have been really hard. Even with two vacation days... which seemed to be catch up days. Between Job 1, Job 2, and my company, well, I think you can get the picture.

We (the company that is) became an authorized reseller of a Internet Security Package. Very cool stuff. Our senior engineer was in America 2 weeks training and soon, we will be hosting training, so the company is steady growing.

Other things, one of my jobs is not really going well. They are angry that I asked for the week before Christmas off to travel home. They seemed really upset and well, 3 weeks later are still up set. I think they might as well get over it. They took a major holiday away from us, which is called Golden Week, and they want to take Christmas too..?... Not to caring. But enough of the negative. It is an easy job.

Other things are... I keep going to the gym. This week I am not going to hit my 3lbs off a week. I took 3 days off from the gym. I didn't gain anything back.... so that is good news. Now it is 2pm on Saturday and I am going to sleep for 1 hour, worked at 8am, then go to the gym. More than likely I will go have diner with a friend or two and then relax. I need to do alot for my company, so Sunday will be homepage day. I want to finish up the design and convert the English pages over. It will take me about 10 hours... or maybe a bit less. I just don't want to miss anything.

Enough for now. October 8th and 9th I will be going to Kakegawa to the Festival. I go every year. More on that next time....

It's sunday again

Well I got through my first week doing 3 jobs. (My company, My School, and My Junior High School) Well maybe I have 4 now... "The Gym." I fell asleep 3 times this week on the sofa... but it really isn't that bad.

Today not much on my schedule... Just a hair cut and going to a discount shop called donkihote. They sell cheap everything! I might have lunch late, with Nini and tonight my friend is coming over to watch a movie and hang out.

Monday I will be right back to work, going to the tax office in the morning (for my company tax back service) and afternoon work, then night gym. Tough but I have lost 13 pounds and gained 2 pounds of muscle.

Enough for now. More later.

(I haven't been as good about updates to this site, but I am very good about keeping records of my workouts... :>)
